Research Interests

My research interests are focused in microsystems and micro-technology.  I have been working with an SU8 autonomous electrostatic microrobot, whose approach takes advantage of the natural resonance frequency of the microstructures to control and drive our robot across a plane. Moreover, the use of polymers such as SU8, PMMA among others, has brought me the interest to characterize the factors that affect its properties and shape during the fabrication processes.


My future work is going to be oriented to microfluidics for Lab-On-a-Chip (LOC) applications such as single cell analysis and certainly more about fabrication processes.
